"Second Avenue Serenade" by Laslo Cameo is an enjoyable Americana CD. The music on this CD is tight with very professional musicianship throughout. The alternating male and female leads on the tracks keep the songs on the CD sounding fresh, as does the varied styles from modern country, to blues, to adult rock. The clean recording quality is totally pro and very well-suited for this genre. "How Can You Lose" is a solid track featuring Leslie's clean, pitch-perfect vocal style, with a memorable chorus that includes a nice keyboard/organ countermelody. "Stella Joy" is a soulful bluesy tune with a cool opening acoustic guitar lick and effective use of tremolo electric guitar to back up Randy's raspy vocals, which work well in this bluesy style.
