This band is awesome and is still putting out new music to this day! This is one of their earliest CD's (also released on vinyl) and the sound is great! Check out the soft and loud, fast and slow changes - and of course the most excellent vocals and lead guitars. They also started the first ProgFest in Los Angeles. There just isn't a bad song on this album! |

Hi all of ya! This is Proggirl checking in! Although the sample edits don't really give you much to hear, if your into prog rock, then 1, 2, 4 and 5 are the ones to get! 3 is kinda folkish-progressive but truly unique vocals, chords and acoustic sounds. 6 is straight out rock and roll, 7 is classic acoustic-rock with a bombarding lead guitar battle in the middle, 8 is a folk piece with 'White Bird' style vocal harmonies and a string quartet! 9 and 10 come back with the Classic Rock sound with hints of prog in their song structure. Besides these hints, the the first five cuts make up a sci-fi-fantasy concept piece, with sound effects and foley! I saw these guys at Progfest am really happy to have found them here. This is the original Citadel ® and only one of their many albums that I listen to daily.

This is the original band named CITADEL, not one of the fly by night impostors, look for the little R in a circle ®(where upper ASCII is accepted...) and you'll know you've found them. This CD simply goes beyond simple description or tiny sound samples - try MWND or Escaping Nepthon...you won't regret it. Saw this band at ProgFest 93, which they invented, and they really know how to put on a show!!! |

I saw this band at the first Progfest (93) and they were unique and good! After downloading MWND and liking it (instrumental prog rock) I then went for Escaping Nepthon - Excellent (video of this on YouTube!) - I eventually downloaded the whole album from iTunes. It is fantastic! I also found their CD Vintage Vinyls at CDBaby! This is a GREAT BAND! I also own their other albums and DVD's! |
