This is the soundtrack album from the action/adventure film, "Dragon and the Hawk," starring Julian Jung Lee, Barbara Gehring, and Trygve Lode.
Movie Synopsis: Haunted by her sister's death, Police Lieutenant Dana "Hawk" Hawkins investigates a similar death of a young Asian girl. Meanwhile, Korean martial arts master, Dragon Pak, comes to America searching for his missing sister, Cindi, who came to the U.S. to pursue a career as a model. When he asks about his sister at Vic's bar, Dragon is attacked by Edgar Dante and his thugs. Hawk helps defeat them and learns of Dragon's missing sister. Is there a connection? When the clues to the dead and missing girls begin to lead to Dante's Inferno club, Dragon is suddenly arrested and threatened with deportation. What has Dante been doing to these girls? Is Cindi still alive? To answer these questions Hawk frees Dragon and together they infiltrate the Inferno and follow Cindi's trail through its dungeons to the laboratory of the sinister Therion.

"Dragon & the Hawk is an independent action/adventure film (shot in the Denver, Colorado area) with a dark side and a soundtrack (scored by Guy Bianchini) to match. The short music video shows a rather darkly-filmed action thriller with fast martial arts action, weaponry and seductively dressed women.... [The CD] is full of spooky, eerie "goth/industrial" sounds, mixed with technical/electronic styles. Classical music influence can be heard with synthesized stringed instruments in the mix. Mark Derryberry and Randy Hansen did a superb engineering job and the tracks seem to fit perfectly with the overall atmosphere....So, if gothic/industrial/techno music is your thing, then this will enthrall you, no doubt. And the film might just do the same. They are an excellent fit."

"Vocals that drip with sweat and lust coil with a danceable beat that's as sinuous as an anaconda! Trygve Lode has an excellent dominant masculine voice, and with lyrics like: "No one else could ever own you It's my chain that makes you free.", this song is delightful...The production value is excellent and all parts are extremely well played. Superb sense of drama and mood. A "must listen"!"
