Highly structured ethereal ambience bordering on tribal with rock, new age, classical and world influences.
Something old, something new and everything in between. Many will find our music to be deeply spiritual - because it is. It is not a statement of a faith, however (though I am a believer). But rather an exploration of something much more basic - Oneness, a belief that all men have a common experience and a common hope for peace. We believe that art, in all its forms, is the truest expression of the human spirit, one in which all can find a place of comfort.
History:
Although officially born in March 2001, the roots of Black Ether stretches back almost 40 years, when one 3 year old with a toy piano met another 3 year old with a toy drum in the hallway of a Brooklyn project where we both lived. We've been making music together ever since. We will be making music together so long as we can find the strength to breath.
