Yael Meyer was born in Santiago de Chile in 1981. In September of 2003, Yael embarked on her largest project up to date: writing, producing and recording her first full-length debut album "Common Ground". Inspired by the work and the people she had been involved with during her last years in Boston, Yael decided to bring together her friends/artists/musicians from Germany, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Hungary, Argentina and USA to produce a beautiful blend of backgrounds and influences in an album that would feature works of collaboration as well as Yael's solo material. "Common Ground" is a work that hails to the beauty that lies within and around us all the time and an example of what is possible when we find amongst ourselves a space to embrace the differences that make us unique, a "Common Ground". |
