What happens when a girl develops a crush on the fat man in red? A New Christmas Song That's Naughty And Nice.

Suellen first wrote and performed an early version of "Dear Mister Santa Claus" in 1997 at Surf Reality on New York City's Lower East Side as part of a "Christmas in July" comedy show. She kept working on the song, performing it at a cabaret benefit show and other venues and in 2000 it was licensed for international distribution on the NBC Soap Opera "Passions." 2002 finally brought the opportunity to produce the song with full instrumentation.

Currently, Suellen Vance lives and performs in New York City. She sings at The Actors Chapel off Times Square and has performed Improv Comedy with Wingnuts, London TheaterSports and at Tom Soter's Sunday Night Improv Jam on the city's Upper West Side. She has performed in 40 of the 50 United States as well as Canada, England and Ireland.

Suellen fell in love with music listening to artists like Peter, Paul and Mary, Boz Scaggs, Barbara Mandrell, Helen Reddy, Kenny Rogers, Styx, Billy Joel, Crystal Gayle, Bette Midler, Linda Rondstat, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra and Rosemary Clooney. She first started singing with groups in college, traveled with Up With People for a year before returning to school to finish a B.A. in Business and B.F.A in Theater from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. She recorded her first song in London in 1997 entitled "It Takes More Courage" with producer Ian Roberts. She hopes to re-record that song in her next project.
