Argentine Tango for DANCING. Played by dancers for dancers.
Conjunto Berretin brings the musical backgrounds of tango, jazz, classical, and blues into the Argentine Tango genre. This music is created by dancers, for dancers of Argentine Tango. Each track is played "a la parrilla" (improvised), which gives it a fresh, energetic sound. l The musicians of Conjunto Berretin are: Alex Krebs (bandoneon), Joe Powers (harminica and vocals), Erin Furbee (violin), Tom Grant (piano), Allen Regnier (bass), and Risa Rank (vocals). This album also features the the first time ever recorded tango "Buenos Aires de mi vida," composed by Risa's late father, Fortunio Bonanova. |
