Varita Magica (Magic Wand in Spanish,) Ferna's debut album, is an exploration and fusion of rock, pop, ballads, and Latin rhythms. The themes range from love, dreams, daily life in society, to the search for meaning. The lyrics of all the songs are personal and intimate. In this varied collection you will find hope, candor, and magic in an out-of-the-mainstream voice and an original musical presence.
Ferna, a Peruvian singer-songwriter. He began to write love songs in the 70s, but later expanded to other themes. He has continued writing many songs, which had remained unpublished until recently. Varita Magica is the first delivery of what this singer-songwriter has to offer us.
Ferna describes his music like this: "Imagine Silvio Rodriguez jamming with Credence Clearwater Revival and Los Angeles Negros on a raft in the middle of the ocean on a sunny day in Cape Verde."
