One can talk about the abstract common knowledge, like one talks about the weather that happens beyond one's will and control, but one can also talk about the first-hand experiences with a real interest that directly awakens one's spirit and touches one's soul.
Therefore some people sound judgmental because they already assume they know all the facts about the certain issues, but the moment they start loosening up, showing the real interest and care about another person or subject, then the whole new doors open up for them, and they enter a new world of perception as if they were ante portas of their own soul.

So these twelve songs represent an, I would say, unselfish insight into the past years and experiences that brought me where I am, my body and soul, and maybe now for the first time in my life I can say that I see more clearly or as if a blurry veil has been removed from my eyes. Some would call it Enlightenment. I simply call it Music.

A few months ago somebody jokingly said to me that I still had more blues to go through, that I still had to suffer more, as if I hadn't had enough already, but then I also realized that as long one is overwhelmed by one's suffering that it's like a see-through light cotton veil over one's eyes-one can see through, but never clearly enough until the veil is gone.

In these twelve songs I have warmly kissed the past goodbye, and although it hurt, it also made me realize how much I have learned from it, how much joy derived from it, and how much closer I have become to my music that reflects it all every time I simply look back as I look ahead--without resentment--realizing the beautiful marriage between Minors & Majors that comes from Heart.

On the cover there's a drawing of me made by an unknown waiter from Paris. I only remember that it happened in the beginning of the 90's in front of the cafe Kraft, somewhere behind the church St. Eustache. I wasn't even aware of him doing it. He just handed to me a piece of paper at the end of my busking in front of the little terrace, and maybe that drawing says it all in the end--somebody listened to it, captured it and made the whole moment eternal on a little piece of paper. Years later, I have enlarged it and turned it into the actual CD cover, but nevertheless, the picture still looks the same and as if the very music still comes out of it. Maybe his unselfish act explains everything as though creating something beautiful, and I can only hope I did the same with these twelve songs.

The accordion in some of the songs is played by Eric Nelson. More and more I listen to it, I can't beat the feeling of something bohemian and parisian that makes the whole picture even more colorful.

Performing live, recently we're privileged to have the beautiful sound of Dave Duffield's cornet carrying us through as if on a flying carpet.
