Guitars -Sound On Sound - Ala-Les Paul.
Buddy Merrill was featured on National Television for 20 years as guitarist with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra.
His 'sound on sound' style is based on the Les Paul technique. On this CD Buddy features smooth guitars
with strings on standards such as 'Ode To Billy Joe' and also exciting renditions of "Mack The Knife" and "Busy Bee" , Buddy's adaptation of "Flight Of The Bumblebee". His arrangement of "Orange Blossom Special" has a country flavor combined with special effects which make for an outstanding presentation.
Buddy used eight different guitars recording this album.
